Putting You in the Driver's Seat - November 14, 2009

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines! On Saturday, November 14^th at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, you can join Scouters from all over the Atlanta Area Council in the race to get fired up, revved up and educated at the Scouters Academy 100! Admission is only $20 and garners you access to all the training you can handle along with a souvenir patch and t-shirt. You will also receive a free “pit pass” to our new 2009 Midway, which includes hands-on booths, static displays, vendor alley and a Scoutmaster cook-off! Lunch will be an optional purchase this year for an additional $8. Come experience a flyover like you have never seen before! There will be door prizes and a whole lot more! Learn new skills to enhance your program and race to the finish line, then take your success back to fire up your unit’s engines!

Scouters Academy is a tool to help leaders of all experience levels and Scouting programs to achieve success in working with the youth in our Council. Scouters Academy is a one day annual training program that features premier trainers from every corner of the Council. The curriculum has something for everyone whether it is a first time Tiger parent to a multi year veteran leader.
